Morning Star Myrrh incense is made by Japanese company, Nippon Kodo.

Myrrh is a natural gum or resin that is obtained from a thorny type of Commiphora tree. The bark of the tree is punctured, so the tree secretes resin. When it hardens, it can be removed from the tree.

Mentions of myrrh can be found in Ancient Egyptian and Christian traditions.  It’s also widely associated with natural medicine, including traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine.
