Baieido Bikou Kobunboku Incense - Box of 180 sticks

Baieido is a distinguished incense producer in Japan, with over 300 years of experience in creating pure and high-quality incense.

Its founder, Kakuuemon Yamatoya, started as a medicinal herb wholesaler in Sakai city during the Muromachi period. By the 1650s, the company specialized in selling incense ingredients and sticks.

Today, Baieido is known for its traditional incense-making techniques, blending the finest aromatic woods and resins to produce mild, low-smoke sticks of superior quality and aroma.

Bikou Kobunboku is one of its subtle formulas, with a soft, fresh scent of cassia and other Chinese herbs blended with sandalwood and aloeswood.

Japanese incense is generally pure, with refined, light smoke and no wooden stick center, making it perfect for meditation. Although a bit more expensive than other incense, the quality of Baieido's products justifies the price.
